Join for an introduction to your body’s 7 energy centers (aka “chakras). No background on yoga, chakras or energy work necessary for this relaxing and restorative class. You’ll be guided through 7 different relaxing and chakra opening and prop supported positions (pillows, blankets, towels, blocks, bolster if you have one). Kristi will guide you through the healing benefits of opening each chakra on your physical body, as well as your mental, spiritual and emotional health.
This is a great way to end your weekend and step into a deep and restful sleep before starting your week! You’ll feel like jello and will have tips and a guided meditation journey to return to anytime you’re feeling out of harmony with any of your 7 energy centers.

In this class you'll learn:
What energy points (also known as chakras) in your body are, where they are located and what their purpose is
Different restorative yoga poses that align with opening up your 7 energy centers or "chakras"
Per each of the 7 chakras, you'll learn how blockages can affect your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Conversely, when you're able to attend to and keep these chakras open and aligned, you'll understand what's possible for each of these areas of your life
Props you'll need for class:
Bolster (or two pillows - firmer the better)
Two Blocks (or two full sized bath towels rolled up)
Two Blankets (any size or material is fine, this is to keep you warm and will use as a gentle weight/reminder in some poses for you to relax a part of your body)
Eye Cover (optional - can also use a scarf for this)
