Reiki For Everyday Health - a Non-Practitioner Reiki Class for Self-Healing

Everyday stress management is hard to do, especially with the demands of managing work-life or school-life balance in our new, virtual world. Reiki self-treatments are powerful to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and help to boost the immune system and your physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Self-treatments can be as quick as 5-minutes as an addition to your morning routine, or mid-day prior to an important meeting or presentation. Treatments may be longer as needed to feel your body relax or the lowering of your blood pressure, for example, when an anxiety episode hits. The benefits of Reiki are many and if you’re reading this, you’ve experienced reiki treatments already or you’re new to reiki and you’re curious for what reiki can do for you.

In this class you’ll learn how to give yourself self-treatments. You’ll learn a brief history of reiki, what the different hand positions are and how to conduct a self scan of where to place your hands for a treatment or how to scan a family member or friend to perform a reiki session for them. You’ll be attuned, a term in reiki work that means you’ll be connected to and opened to receive the powerful and gentle, Universal Life Energy of reiki.

This is a virtual, non-practitioner class so a certificate to practice will not be issued at the end of class as this is designed for self-healing and/or aid in the healing of someone close to you.
