yin yoga + reiki

Book a private yin yoga + reiki session (in current times, I’ll be moving in-person classes to remote private sessions over FaceTime or zoom).

Yin yoga consists of a series of long held, relaxing floor poses that focus on opening areas that are especially rich in connective tissue (e.g. fascia, bones, and tissue). Yin yoga benefits circulation and flexibility, balances your internal organs, and relieves tension and stress.

I will lead you through a series of chakra opening yin yoga poses using props, pillows and cushions found around your home. While holding these very relaxing and opening positions, we will begin with a guided meditation to encourage mindfulness and relaxation. Then you will close your eyes and relax into the poses as I send distant reiki to the areas that the yin yoga pose helps to open up. You will feel very relaxed after this session, like a marshmallow as most clients describe. I encourage evening sessions for this so you can transition soon after to a restful and deep sleep.
